Double Galley Kitchen Layout

Layout Information

Double Galley Kitchens are pretty popular in the UK (generally found in houses designed in the 1960/70's

It's worth trying to keep all of the "Tall" items (Fridge/Freezers, Oven Housings, and Larders to one side of the kitchen - this will give the appearance of more width in the room

Try to position the "Tall" items to the end by the back door - you will use the "Inner" Door more frequently, and again this will provide the appearance of more width as you walk into the kitchen.

This type of kitchen layout is generally used where two doors on opposite ends of the kitchen effectively split the room into two sides.
